If you ride in heavy weather, then you will want to keep the elements out. Delta2 is a waterproof cycling jacket, packed with features; hydrophobic technology for wind and water proof performance, sealed seams, waterproof zips, cargo and Napoleon pockets, fleece lined collar, bungee fit adjusters at neck and waist, rubber tab cuff adjusters, vented yoke, side vent zips, mesh lining and reflective piping and logos.
Fit can be tailored through the various adjusters; lockable bungees at neck and hem allow you to create a snug fit if desired to keep rain and drafts out, and the rubber tab adjusters mean you can fit the sleeve to your wrist or over a glove cuff.
The rear yoke of Delta2 features a permanent breathing vent, and both sides have vent zips that can be opened for further breathability. The rear cargo pocket opens to a mesh pocket liner, so this too can be opened if extra through-flow is required.
Rider comfort is enhanced through the all-over mesh lining, making Delta comfortable to wear with short or long sleeve tops underneath. Delta2 is highly visible in low light conditions through the various reflective piping sections and reflective logos.
Rated at 10,000mm waterproof and 10k breathability, the Delta2 cycling jacket withstands heavy rain and transfers a good amount of moisture away from the body.
Waterproof and breathability explained: Waterproof ratings refer to the column water height reached over a 1” x 1” area of fabric before water starts to penetrate. 10,000mm = 1000cm = 392” = 32’ – that’s quite a lot of water on the jacket surface before penetration. Breathability refers to the weight in grams of water vapour to pass through one square metre of fabric in a 24 hour period. 10k = 10,000g = 10kg of water vapour (or sweat!).
